Physical Self Care


Physical self-care is getting involved in activities that promote physical health, which include a healthy diet and exercise.


Some ways to practice Physical Self-Care:


  • Eat a healthy meal. (Fruit, veggie and protein)

  • Regular doctor visits and when you are sick

  • Engage in exercise. (Include stretching)

  • Go for a walk or hike

  • Drink water.

  • Practice good sleep hygiene (try sleeping and waking around the same time daily)

  • Have a cup of herbal tea. (Chamomile, Peppermint, Ginger tea)

  • Sit in the sunlight. (15-30 min of midday sun)

  • Take a shower or bath regularly

  • Pay attention to your body’s needs
